Welcome to UH Westshore Midwifery. Certified nurse midwives are individuals who are educated in both nursing and nurse midwifery. Nurse Midwives care for women throughout their life cycle. This includes both well women gynecological care including Pap tests, HPV screening, breast exams, family planning, contraceptive management and also obstetrical care that includes care during pregnancy, labor and after childbirth. The midwives of UH Westshore Midwifery deliver primarily at UH St. John Medical Center.
