Job Corps is a no-cost education and vocational training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps low income young people ages 16 through 24 improve the quality of their lives through residential vocational and academic training. Job Corps offers a comprehensive array of career development services to at-risk young women and men, to prepare them for successful careers. Most students live at the Job Corps center they are assigned to, but many centers allow nonresidential students.
