Aruna is a Hindi word meaning 'bright morning sun.' The Aruna Project is working to end commercial sexual exploitation by bringing freedom and restoration to the many women and children sold into the trade. We do this through raising awareness and funds by mobilizing thousands across the US in Aruna Runs to Run for Their Freedom. Free, empower and employ those from the brothel system and bring them into and environment marked by holistic care to help build a bright future
