The Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St Hilary's assists those in need, both inside and outside the parish community by living the gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy. We provide financial assistance for food, utilities, and car repairs to prevent employment barriers. We offer assistance with connecting individuals seeking a job to business owners in the area. Assistance is limited and provided on a case-by-case basis.
Intake Procedures
- Accepts calls on Wednesday between 8AM -9AM until appointments are full
- Appointments sometimes fill within 15 minutes
- Utilizes an interactive system to gather information about the client
- Currently only taking new clients, clients that we have not provided financial assistance for in the past
- Our support line is limited to zip codes 44301, 44302, 44303, 44304, 44305, 44306, 44307, 44308, 44309, 44310, 44311, 44313, 44314, 44320, 44333, 44321
- Once the slots for appointments are full the callers will experience a busy signal
- Car repair requires the client to have a job that the car is needed for and carry insurance and have a valid drivers license
