The Covering currently ministers to women and children in our 3 homes located in Chillicothe and Circleville, Ohio. We take women struggling with anything. We have women that have struggled with addiction, homelessness, domestic violence, etc. We offer our 12-month residential program in a family setting with the focus on Biblical Counseling and Discipleship. After they complete the 12-month residential program, they are welcome to have their children join them in our transitional program.
The Covering was established in 2021. We do not take any type of medical insurance. The first 60 days of the program are free. Once they begin working, a portion of the check will go to program fees. We are partnered with an employer that will provide a good establishment and atmosphere for the ladies. The ladies are completely taken care of for the entire 12 months. We provide everything they need. We want their main focus to be solely on building a relationship with Christ Jesus. Which will change everything for them and will produce and sustain the long lasting change for their lives that they all need.
