At MedMark Lebanon, we utilize evidence-based treatment that we tailor to your unique needs and recovery goals. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using methadone or buprenorphine addresses the physical side effects of opioid addiction, including withdrawal symptoms and cravings. As this medicine helps you overcome opioid dependency, you can focus more fully on your recovery. Along with daily medication, our treatment center also provides addiction counseling. These one-on-one sessions with a professional addiction counselor are a requirement of MAT. Beyond that, they educate you about the disease of addiction and help you uncover triggers and underlying causes that may have led to your opioid dependency. Your counselor will then help you learn coping skills to ensure you can overcome addiction moving forward.
