KIPP Columbus is part of a national network of free, open enrollment, public schools. Founded in 2008 in the Linden neighborhood in northeast Columbus – KIPP Columbus began with 50 students in fifth grade and has expanded to serve more than 2,000 students infant – high school. With nearly 2,500 students on the waiting list KIPP Columbus will grow to serve more than 4,000 students in the coming years with an expansion of the current campus underway.
