Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland Community Action Commission - Hillside Apartments
The Affordable Housing Program offers a wide variety of housing opportunities for residents in the Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland service area and aims to make every effort to provide decent, safe, affordable housing. Rental units and affordable home ownership are two major programs offered. Hillside Apartments provided Kno-Ho-Co-Ashland CAC with a unique opportunity to provide safe decent affordable housing to Knox County residents. This 45 unit complex was in desperate need of improvements as many of the units were uninhabitable. In 2007 a renovation project began which totally gutted all housing complexes to completely renovate each unit. Renovations have been completed with the end result being beautifully renovated housing. Hillside has 3 and 4 bedroom apartments under the guidelines of Section 8 Housing.
