HRS helps with the lifelong recovery of individuals and families by way of education, prevention, treatment and other supportive services. Established in 1975 in Athens, Ohio, Health Recovery Services vision is to be a source of wellness with belief in the potential of people as our highest principle. HRS offers both outpatient and residential treatment options for consumers. All outpatient sites offer alcohol, drug and mental health services, individual and group counseling, case management and gambling screenings.
