The mission of Charity Newsies is that no child shall be kept out of school for lack of adequate clothing. Students enrolled in Franklin County schools (public, parochial, vocational and charter) in grades K-12 attending in person from families at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines are eligible to receive help from Charity Newsies. Children will receive $150 in brand new clothing for school including a coat, hat, gloved, three pairs of pants, three shirts, underwear for the week and six pairs of socks.
