The Auglaize County Crisis Center provides a network of safety for adult and child victims of domestic violence through 24-hour emergency crisis response, safety planning, shelter and case management. Each survivor secures a channel of safety through, emergency and transitional shelter (up to 90 days), food, basic needs, case management, legal advocacy, civil protection orders, transportation, financial empowerment education, and non-residential programs with a nine month follow up service. All of the above noted services are free of charge to all served.The Crisis Center serves both residential and non-residential survivors of domestic violence, that is, those that require the shelter for safety and those that require services but not shelter. The shelter program provides a 90 day stay with 30-day reviews of goals, both immediate and long term. New goals are established at the end of every 30-day period.
