The Cleveland Eastside Ex-Offender Coalitions mission is to empower Ohios incarcerated; their families and minor children, and other at-risk youth to improve their outcomes and enhance their overall quality of life socially, emotionally, financially, spiritually and physically. Our vision is to see all incarcerated individuals successfully recover from a life of imprisonment and reunited with their families; being seen as people who can lead productive lives in the community, thereby decreasing the overall stress on the family unit and reducing recidivism. Our purpose is to provide the services that help strengthen families of incarcerated individuals. Millions of families are affected daily by incarceration. This can and does impose undue hardships on the well-being of the prisoners and their families, especially their minor children.
