LAPP provides outpatient integrated behavioral health services to the Licking County area through three basic programs: Adult Outpatient (Non-Gender Specific) Program which includes Intensive Outpatient as a service of outpatient alcohol and other drug programming, the Women’s Program (Gender Specific) which also includes Intensive Outpatient as a service, and the Adolescent Program. The program provides integrated “safety net” services and is directed at the following conditions: 1) Individuals identified as high risk (IE., Women of child- bearing age, IV drug users, adolescents, dually diagnosed population, criminal justice population, and the severe substance abuse population. 2) Need for outpatient services to maintain alcohol/drug free lifestyle (IE., skill/asset building); 3) Gender specific programming that focuses on consumers’ strengths vs. weaknesses; and 4) Need for increased awareness of alcohol/drug addiction and the effect of addiction on the individual, family, and community. The program goal is to increase the number of youth and adults choosing healthy behaviors by decreasing alcohol/drug abuse among Children/Teens and Adults.
