We at Charak are committed to giving the most compassionate and comprehensive care available for those struggling with addiction issues. We provide services to the full addiction spectrum. With Heroin and opiates reaching pandemic proportions leaving many people, young and old, dead from overdose we offer a Suboxone protocol/program with the intent of assisting opiate dependent men and women to restore a sense of normalcy to their daily lives. With over 100 years of collective addiction experience our staff is dedicated to providing intensive treatment with medical oversight, individual counseling, Case management along with intensive outpatient therapy. Once a client makes contact to set up an appointment the process begins. Each consumer undergoes both a clinical and medical evaluation to assess their needs on an individual basis. They then move on to the induction phase of treatment where they are medicated and observed for tolerance of the suboxone. This is a five day process. Upon completion of this phase they attend an IOP, which is three times a week for three hours over 16 weeks. We provide two options with both a morning group, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am till 1 pm, as well as an afternoon group Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 1pm till 4pm. Because we firmly believe that addiction is an illness that impacts not only the person using drugs, but also family members and other loved ones we have incorporated a Family Night group as part of the IOP that has to be attended twice within the 16 week course. Our daily mission at Charak is to “bring you hope” of leading the kinds of lives that can be attained through our clinical services.
